It’s that time! I’ve been craving churrasco with chimichurri like no other, so good thing the guys down on the Nicaraguan development I love called to say they are throwing an investor discovery weekend tour in later June! June 19th-23rd to be exact.

These trips adiscovery-event-2012-january-day-2_12re a BLAST. I’ve been on several to meet various investors and I’ve never had a bad time. These trips are not like those timeshare gigs where you listen to a day’s worth of boring information and in return get your trip for free. You will pay a registration fee, but for everything you get it’s very affordable! Grand total there will be maybe 3 hours of talking about the development specifically, but even those talks are a blast. One speaker who usually talks is an expat from North Carolina who gives a real-life account of life in Nicaragua since moving there full-time with his wife. Other than those 3 hours or so, the whole weekend will be full of cool people, surfing, golf, swimming, oceanside massages, volcano tours, boat rides, market tours, and VIP service. Or if you aren’t as adventurous you can just lounge by the infinity pool or any other more calm activity.

I will be down there, so if you join on you will get to meet me! In fact, I’ll meet you VIP style in the airport when you arrive even. You can always extend your trip so you can tour around Nicaragua, or any of the surrounding countries, as much as you’d like since you are there already.

Little short notice, but fares are down right now, so leave a comment if you are interested and I’ll get back to you ASAP so you have plenty of time to book your flight.

Who’s with me!

    Hi Ali,

I saw your profile regarding buying 5 properties and thought to myself – I’ve done the same thing in Vegas – and am looking for other opportunities and ideas. Maybe to start , can you send me details on Nicaragua development/investments. .

    thanks

Hey Ali! Was thinking about you (enviously) ’cause I know you’re out in Nicaragua. I’d really like to know more about which developers you’ve been working with and like (and which ones you don’t) I’m traveling vicariously through you right now, so I’m anxious to hear about your trip! I think my next adventure destination is whittled down to either Nicaragua (I may go check it out next time you go), or Uruguay. My concern is that UY might be too sleepy an area, even for me. Looking forward to hearing a truthful account Nicaragua and not more marketing hype. Thank you in advance for that! 🙂

Just emailed you! Let me know if you don’t get it. (not sure how often I end up in people’s spam folders). I can definitely give a good opinion on developers down there, I think, because I’ve been screwed down there before and therefore have set quite the high bar that someone has to meet before I will believe in what they are offering.

Landed here after looking at your ROR post. I have a property with them with decent results but what caught my eye was Nicaragua. Been there a lot, was there last month, wish I was going in June but wondering who’s tour you are going on – assuming it it CB? Also wondering if you have bought there or just love going. BTW, the local Habitat for Humanity office is doing two builds-Jan and Feb if you or others may be interested.

Hey Ali! I’ve read a few of your articles on BP. I am extremely interested in attending this meeting in June. If my house sells in the next few weeks (cross your fingers), I’m going. I really want to check out Nicaragua to live and invest and would love to hear more about your experiences there. I enjoyed hearing about how you felt safe there. As a redhead, I stood out like a gringa in LA. I’m trying to get better at my Spanish (hard without someone to practice but immersion would certainly speed up the process). How reliable/fast is the internet out there? Would love to hear all you want to share.
